The Cleveland County Fair Board is pleased to recognize Neal Hall, Jackie Listen and Rusty Grissom as this year’s Fair Patron of the Year award honorees. The Fair Patron of the Year Award is presented to one or more people who have dedicated their time and energies to the activates and organizations associated with the Cleveland County Free Fair and Fairgrounds activities.

Neal Hall has been actively involved with the Cleveland County Free Fair and fairgrounds events since his childhood as an avid 4H and FFA member. His involvement continues in his adult life with his dedication to helping son Chris, and a number of other young people, show their livestock, raise money and many other activities. Hall also provides dairy cows for the annual Cleveland County Free Fair Celebrity Cow Milking Contest and is involved in a number of fair-related activities.

A very familiar face at the fairgrounds, McClain Bank Vice President, Jackie Listen has served as the Cleveland County Free Fair Gospel Night Master of Ceremonies for the last seven years. He has also been actively involved in a number of organizations associated with the fairgrounds and fairgrounds activities including the Junior Livestock Organization and many others. Jackie Listen, and McClain Bank, are also long-time Cleveland County Fairgrounds Arena Sponsors.

Well-known for his dedication to and active involvement in fairgrounds events and fair related activities, Rusty Grissom has spent the better part of his life serving on a number of county organizations dedicated to the improvement of the Cleveland County Fairgrounds and Free Fair. He has served for nine years as an active Cleveland County Fair Board Member, and he has served as President of the Junior Livestock Organization, among other organizations. Grissom’s Landscape Nursery is also a long-term Cleveland County Fairgrounds Annual Sponsor.
