The Norman Farm Market will celebrate 30 years this season, and we're looking for YOUR FAVORITES PICTURES, MEMORIES AND NEWSPAPER ARTICLES!  Vendors and Farm Market visitors, please share YOUR favorite memories that have taken place within the 30 years of Norman Farm Market!   • This year's Farm Market Booth Selection Meeting will be held at 7 :00 PM on March 9th in the Arena Lobby at the Fairgrounds. Booth selection will be made according to senority attendance. Anyone interested in renting a booth to sell vegetables, plants or other similar itlems at the year's Norman Farm Market is invited to attend. * In case of inclement weather, the booth selection meeting will be held on March 16, 2010 at 7 :00 PM in the Arena Lobby at the Fairgrounds.

  • Norman Farm Market will open for its' 30th season on Saturday, April 3, 2010. It will close for the Season on Sat., Oct 30, 2010.

Sponsored by the Cleveland County Fair Board, Norman Farm Market is Oklahoma’s oldest farmers’ market, celebrating 30 years this season. Norman Farm Market hours are 8:00 am – 12:00 noon each Saturday and Wednesday, April through October. Featured Monthly

    • APRIL- Asparagus, hothouse tomatoes, greens, lettuce, radishes, spinach, herb and vegetables plants, flower bedding plants.

    • MAY- Asparagus, hothouse tomatoes, greens, lettuce, radishes, spinach, herb and vegetable plants, flower bedding plants, freshly cut basil, cucumbers, beans, onions, strawberries, peas, beets, potatoes, yellow and zucchini squash.

    • JUNE- Blackberries, peaches, blueberries, potatoes, onions, summer squash, cucumbers, black-eyed peas, tomatoes, peppers, okra.

    • JULY AND AUGUST- Peaches, nectarines, okra, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, sweet corn, melons, peas, cucumbers, squash.

    • SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER- Greens, summer and winter squash, peppers, sweet potatoes, melons, cucumber, eggplant, okra, pansies and other fall bedding plants, pears, pumpkins, straw, corn and gourds for fall decorating.

    • AVAILABLE ALL SEASON- Herbs, Oklahoma honey, cut flowers, trees, shrubs, hanging baskets, perennial, bedding and annual plants.

    • AVAILABLE Throughout the season Farm fresh eggs, dairy cheese, spices, processed jams and jellies, salsas and many other items, will be featured periodically.

Look for these helpful signs at norman farm market:  

  • The dark green tags are for vendors who have grown their own “Homegrown” produce to sell at market.  

  • The light green tags Oklahoma Grown - are for vendors who have purchased produce from a neighbor or an Oklahoma farmer to sell at market.

  • The white tags are used by vendors who purchase produce from retailers.

  • The yellow tags are for vendors with plants, herbs, transplants, etc.
